Scarpetta’s Onda restaurant

One of those novelties will be « Scarpetta Wave «, a restaurant that will be ranked as the first of its kind on the high seas and will join others in Scarpetta’s broad portfolio, which already has stores in New York, Hamptons, Miami , Las Vegas, Newport or London.

Scarpetta comes from the Italian expression “fare la Scarpetta”, something like tasting a meal to the last bite. In Onda, this spirit will be adapted providing all the elegance and charm of urban restaurants but on the high seas. A menu full of delicious and bold flavors, unmistakable seal of this modern Italian restaurant.

In Onda it has been known to capture the aesthetics of the design of the restaurants of Scarpetta. In this aesthetic, natural materials such as golden walnut marble and the famous calcatta stand out. A union full of harmony that creates elegant environments that offer a balance of confrot and refinement with a contemporary, minimalist and most Italian aesthetic. As for the menu, it will feature delicious seafood and signature dishes that will be prepared daily, such as the famous Spaghetti Tomato and Basil de Scarpetta, as well as the best desserts in the region. All these dishes will be designed so that the guest can live a true experience of the “dolce vita”.

Other restaurants in Encore

Remember that many of the restaurants that have made the Breakaway Plus class one of the most innovative and successful in the history of the shipping company, will also be present in this new vessel. The ship will offer endless places to enjoy. An eclectic mix of culinary offer for any type of palate. Thus, among its specialty restaurants we can highlight the American Diner , for the classic American food; Cagney´s Steakhouse , with top quality cuts of meat; Food Republic , in which we will find dishes with a fusion of flavors; Le Bistro , with the best dishes of French cuisine; Los Lobos , to taste Premium Mexican food;Ocean Blue , with the freshest seafood on the high seas; Q , with the authentic Texas barbecue; or Teppanyaki , a restaurant that brings guests to experience the Hibachi style.

Do not forget that this boat will also have restaurants included in the price that have a high quality in their dishes. We have, for example, the Garden Café , the buffet for the three meals of the day or the three main restaurants: Manhattan Room, Savor and Taste . We also find The Local Bar and Grill , which will offer food 24 hours a day or The Haven Restaurant , an exclusive restaurant included in the passage of The Haven by Norwegian guests.

For coffee and cakes

If you are a sweet tooth, you will have no problem, because in this boat you can also find places like Coco´s , a corner full of sundaes, milkshakes and ice cream. You will also have Dolce Gelato in Waterfront and a Starbucks . In addition, the French high pastry, based on macarons, chocolates and cupcakes, will be present at The Bake Shop .

Eating is fine, but remember that on a cruise there is also time to enjoy a good cocktail. In Norwegian Encore you can do it with the creations of the award-winning James Beard Award and founder of Bar-Lab, Gabe Orta and cocktails by the famous mixologist Kathy Casey.

These include: A-List Bar; The Cellars (from the family of Michael Mondavi, a wine bar with 35 varieties); The District Brew House , with 24 draft and bottled beers from the Miami’s Wynwood Brewing Company; Maltings Whiskey Bar; Mixx Bar; Skyline Bar; Sugarcane Mojito Bar or Vibe Beach Club , a completely private space that can only be accessed by adults.
